Man, I'm tired.

I have nothing of interest to say. I stopped in to see these ladies because I drive by there all the time- I emailed to see if they have a need for my services- I coach, I have a master's degree in Leadership, I'm a Yoga teacher. I'm a lover of the written word. I was too chicken to tell them about my yogaVlog but overall it was a great meeting. I think I'm about to put together workshop ideas to hold there. I'd get a 60% cut- pretty good I suppose.

I was about to rant on and on about how I wish I could do this at my current job (I work at a University- you'd think they'd love this, right?!) but it's not falling into place as easy as I'd like. Where as- with these ladies at Soul Source- it seems too easy. And I like that.

Everything in my life (that is good is going well) has happened so easily. I met Todd and we got along swimmingly. A year and a half later- we were shacking up, engaged to be married. We celebrate the fifth anniversary of our first date next month. My current job? I have minimal experience, laughable experience to be exact. But I got it. We wanted to have a baby, I checked in with my "the Catholic institution I work for doesn't pay for the pill so I have to keep track of my menstruation cycle" calendar and BOOM. Knocked up.

When things aren't "supposed" to happen- man does time move slowly.

The most difficult part about this whole life happening to us VS. being an active participant (or the leading lady) in our own story is being patient. I read a tremendous story from Yoga Journal (I can't find it so check out this bloggy) about being mindful and patient.

I'd love to add my two cents...but in the spirit of my yoga practice I'm reading about manifesting and meditating so I ended up not sleeping because the mantra I was reading about got lodged in my head and kept me up. All. Night.

F.

Well, anyway, yogafit level 1 retrain this weekend.

I'll be doing that and thinking happy thoughts about a dear friend (and local blog celebrity) who's due to have a baby tomorrow. Remember, girls...no news means...no news.

Good fable. I like fables. They're old-timey but still always so right! I finally flipped on my yoga DVD yesterdee and did a 25 minute session. Baby steps, baby steps...

What's wrong with your mantra keeping you up all night? It was a good one, right?

And you complain.... sounds like it was a sign to me!
