So the Tip Junkie daily emails got my wheels turning. I love tips. Ironically I was already thinking about Christmas this morning so this just added fuel to my ridiculousness fire.
I always struggle around Christmas time. Mostly, it's because I only get paid once a month so saving/spending/living pay check to pay check and not dipping into my savings really puts a toll on me and my plastic. In honor of being a little better (with money, life, everything) I think I'm going to start thinking about Christmas...before it gets away from me (like always.)
I took a cue from my friend KellyConfetti (have we out grown that nickname, by the way? Let me know and I'll reluctantly move onto the Bag Lady like everyone else :-/ Kelly Confetti reminds me of simpler times...high school keg parties in basements in Yeadon...Mother/Daughter Slaughters...I digress.) and started an amazon wish list for myself. I really got myself into trouble when I signed up for the one click speed check out- did some serious damage on my maternity leave...

| Don't worry, they're in my closet... |
But a wish list? Instead of buying everything I can just let them sit there- and direct on lookers to my little corner on the Internets.
Now we move on to others- and the Christmas gift buying aspect of it all. Christmas turns into a really stressful time of year for me. Not because of the busyness of if all- not because it gets dark at 4:30pm and that's depressing...it's more like I looooove finding exactly the right gift for people and I feel like I let them down when I break down and buy the Home Depot gift card year after year. If I start paying attention in August, I think I might be able to do this my way. Which is what Christmas is all about really, keeping me happy. Forget readying the world for the birth of Christ and all that jazz...I want not to have gift givers remorse! ;-)
So...if you see me skulking around keeping notes in a tiny notebook, I'm not being a creep or writing a mystery novel, instead- I'm plotting my Christmas attack!
So get ready to be WOWd.
