Hi Grandmom,
The Phillies have been playing really well. I tried to stay up and watch last night's game, but I fell asleep when it was still 5-5. The game got over too late. It was nice to hear that they scored 4 more runs and won. Hopefully they will keep winning, so when the baby is born he/she can see them in the World Series.

This baby is going to love baseball. And buying a Phillie shirt was very nice of you. Baby Kurpel is going to look great in the shirt , I am sure. And Todd, don't feel bad about falling asleep - I fell asleep also. right after the fifth , but got awake during the early part of the sixth. then I was good to the end of the game. But it was to long. These men were playing real hard, it was a good game. And it is great that they won.
